For this activity, let’s imagine that Donald Trump called you up and asked for your opinion on this controversial issue.
On your blog, please tell us what you think about his plan to build a wall between the USA and Mexico. Is it a good idea or a bad idea? Why do you think so?
I think a wall between USA and Mexico is a very BAD idea. Why would you want to stop others from coming into your country. Another thing that I disagree with is the fact that he wants Mexico to PAY for the wall. Why Mexico? I think all immigrants should be able to live in America no matter wha Donald Trump says!

Well done Noah. I agree the wall is a very bad idea and a racist one too. Immigration is needed for countries BUT this is no way to sort the problem. Policies need to be written, so In the past it has NOT worked. It separates families and cultures. The writing is really hard to read in this colour. I had to highlight it all to see it. Maybe you could play around with colours to see what works. Good job.

It sounds like you have thought really hard about why President Trump’s plan to build a wall between the USA and Mexico is a bad idea - ka pai! Your opinion on this issue shows you are a kind and empathetic person who cares about how things may affect other people’s lives. These are brilliant qualities to have, especially if you ever want to become a leader!
I thought it was brilliant how you backed your opinion up with a reason, when you said that all immigrants should be able to live in America. It's important to back up your opinions with reasons! I also thought it was pretty cool how you linked your friend’s blog - you must be a good friend Noah!
I really enjoyed reading your post about the wall and I hope that you will continue blogging with us over the summer. Keep working on the teaser week activities and on the 16th of December you can start the Week 1 activities.
