Vegetable Smack Down

The Vegetable Smack Down
Hey there bloggers!
Over the last month we have been studying one type of fruit.
Our fruit is a Kiwano. A Kiwano is a spiky looking fruit that tastes like a grape for about ten seconds then it just tastes like nothing. First we had to walk around our class and right down all the vegetables and fruit you know. Then you chose one fruit to find out information. We did this for about two or three days then we sort of left it UNTIL...
The teachers told us where doing a smack down. know one knew what that was so the teachers told us. A smack down is where you talk about your fruit or vegetable.
It actually went really well I said what needed to be said and sat down.
This happened to a lot of people they where very nervous but after they started talking they were fine. After everyone was done it was time to go home. I have learned a lot about some fruit and vegetables and would like to do some thing like this again.
Down below is my Kiwano doc have a look and comment anything you learned.

Choir rehearsals

Choir rehearsals

Mt Eden, Waikowhai Primary, River dale, Hillsborough , Hay park, North coat and Arahoe all came to Hay park to do a Choir rehearsal. If you where one of these schools you how it was, pretty fun right! We got to make new friends and connect with other people from different schools. We also got to sing some awesome songs. My two favourite songs were Kiri Te Kanawa Tarakihi and The Eye of the tiger. "Its the eye of the tiger... Oh we're not singing are we". The rehearsal went from 9:15 to 1:00 at the start there was a kapa haka group practising for their concert in two weeks. They did a very powerful Haka that was awesome and they also did a Waiata that defined impossible it was AWESOME.

Over all it was a very fun way to spend a day of school.
